US ARMY / AIR FORCE TUITION ASSISTANCE

InovaTech College of Business & Technology is an accredited College under the Accrediting Council of Continuing Education and Training, and as such is registered with the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force Education Services Office as a College authorized to accept military Tuition Assistance funds.

Tuition assistance will reimburse the students with $250/credit hour with an annual amount of $4,500. If the student chooses and is able to do so, the remaining $100/credit hour can be covered by the Montgomery GI Bill through Top-Up. The Director of Education will assist students with both applications, for Tuition Assistance and Top-Up. The application for TA Reimbursement must be completed class by class, prior to the beginning of each class.

Tuition Assistance Application Process

1. After the student has decided which course he/she wishes to attend at InovaTech, the student must contact the Admissions Office to receive the class schedule.
2. The student must then create an account on www.goarmyed.com and print the TA Statement of Understanding (SOU), sign it and obtain a signature from the Unit Commander. After it is signed, the student must submitted the SOU to the appropriate Army Education Center. For assistance in identifying your Army Education Center, click the ‘My Education Center’ link located in the ‘My Community Links’ section on the www.goarmyed.com homepage. If you need further assistance, call the GoArmyEd Helpdesk at 1-800-817-9990 or select ‘Create a Helpdesk Case’ to create a case online.

3. Students must contact an Education Center counselor for validation of their chosen educational goal and activation of the Soldier’s access to the TA functionality of the GoArmyEd portal.

4. GoArmyEd will notify the Soldier whether the TA is approved or rejected. If the TA request is rejected, GoArmyEd will advise the Soldier of the reason and on next steps to be taken.

5. If approved for TA, the Soldier will be notified by email. Soldiers must print the approved TA Reimbursement Form from GoArmyEd and enroll in the class directly with the college. When providing the approved TA Reimbursement Form, the InovaTech Admissions Counselor will provide the student with the enrollment package.

6. TA payments will be made directly to InovaTech.

7. Soldiers must ensure that the college submits grades to the Army for the class to receive TA reimbursement from the Army.

8. The student starts his/her classes at InovaTech College of Business & Technology.
