Exam Proctoring Services

To help the adult learners who attend distance learning programs with other colleges or universities in the US who must have their final exams proctored by anauthorized center, InovaTech offers exam proctoring services on an availability basis.

To register for a proctored exam, please follow the steps below:
1. Call our Test Center Manager  by phone at 910.764-1111 or by email at testing@inovatechnc.com to ensure  a time slot available for the date when you wish to have your exam proctored
2. Once an exam time has been discussed and decided upon, please notify your University’s Distance Education Proctoring Services Office and schedule your exam with InovaTech.
3. After you schedule your exam, please pay for your exam. The exam fee is $25/exam. This fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

On the exam day, show up for your exam appointment at least 30 minutes prior to the exam time. Please bring a valid photo and signature ID for identification purposes.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do I need to pay for an exam?
Payment must be made after the university confirms your appointment with InovaTech. You can only pay using a debit/credit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express cards. No checks or cash can be used to register for an exam. The fee is non-refundable.

What are your exam proctoring open hours?

Your exam can be proctoring during these open hours:
Monday – Thursday: 10:30am – 4:30pm
Fridays: 10:30am – 2:30pm

Can I have my exam proctored on weekends?

No, the exam proctoring services are only offered during weekdays.

Can I have my exam proctored on a Federal Holidays?
No, in honor of the Federal Holidays, we do not proctor exams on the date of the Federal Holiday as well as on the Monday or Friday before.

Can I take anything with me inside the proctoring room?

No, unless your instructor sent specific items that are allowed during the exam.

How far in advance should I register for an exam?

Due to limited seats, we advise you to register as early as possible. We do require you to register at least 10 business day prior to the desired exam date and time.

How do I reschedule an exam?
To reschedule an exam, first contact the Test Center Manager, Ms. Kimberly Shelton to discuss a new appointment date and time. Upon deciding on a new date and time, simply contact your College’s or University’s Exam Proctoring office to reschedule the exam.

How do I cancel an exam?

To reschedule an exam, please contact your College’s or University’s Exam Proctoring office to cancel the exam. Upon cancelling your exam, please notify the InovaTech Test Center Manager, Ms. Kimberly Shelton of the cancellation as well.
